Communitcations Facilitator

Science Coordinator

NRM North is the regional NRM body responsible for delivering integrated Natural Resource Management within Northern Tasmania.  As the regional NRM body, NRM North is responsible for ensuring that the targets within the regional NRM strategy are achieved.

NRM North requires enthusiastic and motivated personnel to fill the following full time positions:

Communications Facilitator ($50K - $55)

Science Coordinator ($50K - $60K)

TENDERS

NRM North has an opportunity for a service provider to undertake a review of current industries within Northern Tasmania.  The service provider will be expected to use the outcomes of the review to develop a regional industry engagement strategy for NRM North.

South

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

IMPLEMENTATION OF PRIORITY NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT WORKS 

NRM South invites submissions from organisations seeking to implement priority on-ground Natural Resource Management works that are identified within an existing plan (for example catchment plans, Rivercare plans and local government NRM plans).

Works should focus on the following resource condition themes:

  • Improved water management/water quality; and/or
  • Improved condition of marine, coastal and estuarine ecosystems and processes; and/or
  • Improved marine, coastal and estuarine water quality; and/or
  • Protection of National and State-listed threatened species; and/or
  • Management of Weeds, Pests and Diseases.

Submissions close COB 28 May 2007.
