This chapter addresses management of native terrestrial flora and fauna. Management of freshwater and marine ecosystems and significant species is addressed in Chapter 5: Managing Water, and Chapter 7: Managing Marine, Coastal and Estuarine Systems.

 


The economic impacts of weeds, pests and diseases, and Management Actions for weeds, pests and diseases, are both presented in an integrated format in this chapter.

Appendix 10 in the Supplementary Information document lists the many existing flora and fauna management programs and practices in the Region.
