Priority issues affecting our regional natural resource assets were identified in consultation with many community members and organisations in the early stages of the NRM Strategy formulation. The regional natural resource assets are:
Community Capacity - the ability and resources of individuals, networks, organisaions and communities to mange our natural resources - is also recognised as an important area.
Management actions and targets have been developed to address the priority issues for each natural reosurce asset. A summary of the issues and targets can be downloaded below.
